Garment Care

Looking after it

A printed tee lasts as long as you let it. Four things make the difference.

Wash cold, inside out. 30°C or below, turned inside out so the print is not rubbing against the drum. This is the single biggest factor in how long a print lasts.

Skip the fabric softener. It coats the fibres and dulls the print.

Hang to dry. The tumble dryer is what cracks prints and shrinks cotton. Hang it inside out, out of direct sun.

Do not iron the print. If you need to iron, go around it, or put a cloth between the iron and the print and use a low heat.

Treated this way a tee will outlast several that were not.
